Dumond followed the growl without thinking twice "Besides..." he said to Tallia "...I want to see the Overseer's reaction when he-- WHOA!" he stopped when he saw a shadowy animal, lion sized with green glowing spots. He gave a step backwards.

Yeah, woah. Now leave., I thought miserbly, knowing if they attacked, I couldn't do anything to stop them.

"What... is... this?" asked Dumond open mouthed. "What? What ... did........... you..... found.....?" asked Tallia losing her voice when she saw the big cat-like-mutant.
"It's a... Mutant?" asked Dumond looking at the creature
"I think it is... Aww! The poor thing has its mouth tied down! I wonder how it can eat..." said Tallia looking at the cat-like mutant
"Forget about the mouth! I'm wondering how it manage to enter the Vault. Surrely the guards would have noticed a... creature this size." said Dumond.

Ehh, could I make him like, a smaller size, I can't think of a way a lion-size mutant would get in un-noticed xD))
I lowered myself to the ground, slowly sitting. I felt helpless. And, let me tell you, I hated it. I tried to take off the trash can with my paws, which wasn't working. I guess I would have to trust the humans and let them take it off. I shivered.

"It's stuck in the trash can!" said Tallia walking towards the animal "What are you doing? It will attack you!" said Dumond
"If you insult the poor creature, then it will attack you..." Tallia slowly started removing the trash can from the cat-creature's head.
When it's fully removed, she said smiling "There! It must be uncomfortable to have the mouth tied down..." she commented looking at the creature's mouth.

I looked into the humans eyes. Unlike the other humans, hers seemed.... kind. I stifled a purr. I looked down at my paws, angry at myself. Why was I going to purr? You hate humans! All humans are evil! Look what they did to you!, I thought to myself.

Tallia slowly stroked the cat's head and she smiled at it. Dumond came from behind her and smiled as well "He doesn't seem to be agressive" he muttered.
"Do you think Dad would be able to open his mouth?" Tallia asked.
Dumond thought for a moment "Maybe... But I fear he might tell the Overseer"

I let out a loud snarl as the human's hand touched my fur, and I backed up. I wasn't going to give in just yet.

"Hmm..." mumbled Dumond "I think it's scared somehow... Maybe... He was abused by humans? Maybe that's why his mouth is tied down..."
"I think the ones who tied down his mouth deserve the same" said Tallia with angry "Don't need to be afraid... I'm Tallia and this is my brother Dumond... Well, half-brother"
Dumond sighed "Tallia... If father sees you talking to a mutant..."
"He might understand us!" she concluded "I've studied in biology that some mutants understand humans perfectly and even talk with them. Since this one has its mouth tied down, he cannot talk..."

I looked up at this human called 'Tallia'. How did she know so much about my kind? Since I could use words, I slowly nodded.

Dumond was eyed "He ... Understood you!" he said.
"Hah! See?" said Tallia chuckling "Do you want to removed these things in your mouth, kitty?" she asked looking at him.
"If he can understand us... I wonder what name he has..." wondered Dumond.

I shook my head. Even though it would be a blessing to have the stitches removed, something inside me said don't do it. And I stick to my gut. Then the other human that I didn't like much spoke about my name. I held up a paw to tell them to wait. I dashed to the pile of trash. Maybe I could find some words that spelled out my name in there.

Tallia was confused and she looked at Dumond "He doesn't want to have this stitches removed? How could someone deny it?" she asked a bit shocked
Dumond shrugged "Maybe... It's some kind of punishment that he accepted? Y'know... Like, those creepy movies...." he said gesturing with his fingers
"I get it..." Tallie said rolling her eyes before Dumond would even end his sentence.

Soon enough, I found the two words I was looking for. Running back to the two humans, I dropped the word cutouts on the ground in front of them. They read "Lost Soul".

Astaria: I was walking and trying to find Dumond and Tallia. Finally found the two. "Hi!" I said running up to them. Then I saw a mutant and hid behind Dumond.

Tallia looked at the words and she had some difficult in reading. She put her glasses "Lost.... Soul?" she wondered.
Dumond looked at the words as well "Must be... His name, I guess"
Tallia gave a watermelon smile "Pleased to meet you, Lost Soul!"

"Wahhh!!" said Dumond when he saw Astaria "Oh... Astaria, don't do that! You almost killed me!" he said panting heavily.
"Oh, hi, Astaria!" said Tallia smiling.

I let out a snarl at the new human. Lowering my head, I bared my fangs. Two humans were enough.

"Don't need to be scared, Lost Soul..." said Tallia petting the animal's head "Her name's Astaria! She's a friend and won't hurt you..."

wait.. i forgot.. he can't show his fangs.. oops xD))
I backed up, growling at Tallia. Ugh! You're giving in!, I yelled at myself, Run, run!

Astaria: I squealed, backing up, my body was against the wall. "Don't hurt me!"

I smiled inside. At least one of the humans had the right idea.

"Uhh... Calm down, Lost Soul!" said Tallia showing her hands "If you start running around, the guard will shoot at you without thinking twice!"
"Yeah, we better--" "DUMOOOOOOOND!!" another voice came from the other corridor.
"Oh... F*ck..." muttered Dumond hiding his face with his palm.

Astaria: "I'm gonna pretend I'm hut to give you an excuse." I whispered. "OW!!!!!!!"

I flattened myself to the ground as I heard another human scream the annoying human's name. I hissed.
