"Settle down, tiger.", she chuckled, and then she gasped, "Oh! I made you all one of these, too." She took out a bunch of helmets made of out leaves. They were made in the shape of a Guardians' mask. "I thought you would like these. I know you all love to play Guardians of Ga'hoole."

"Gah!" snorted Esk and she acted normal, still eating her berries and drinking her tea. Hmm... What does he sees in me? - she thought - There's nothing special on me... I'm just another barn owl on the train.

"Wow!! Cool!" said Ies as he grabbed the helmet and wore it "Awesome! Now I'm a Guardian!" he chuckled and started flying around the room and humming a tune.

"H-Hi Esk.", Ruasonid nervously chuckled. His eyes were glued to the ground as he opened his beak, "Umm... y-you know the B-Ball....?" His white face was now red, flushed with blush. "Well....I-I wanna know...if...y-you wanted to go with m-me....?"

"Wow, Ies.", she smiled, "You've learned to fly so quickly! That's wonderful! Do you want to have a flying lesson, owlets?"

A young Spotted owlet flapped up to the Nursery Chaw member, "Oh! Oh! I wanna!" She waved her one wing in the air.

"Thanks!" said Ies, looking at the nurse while flying and he accidently crashed into the wall "Ouch..." he mumbled and fell on the ground "I'm alright... I still don't know how to fly well..." he confessed "Can I have fly lessons too?"

"O-Oh...", Ruasonid flinched, "Sorry for bothering you..." He quickly spun around and started to run. He ran right out of the hollow, and you could catch a glimps of him spreading his wings and flying away.

"Owow.", she mumbled, "I didn't know he liked you that much, Esk." The Burrowing owl looked back to her milkberry tart, which was now in small pieces, "Well.....*ahem* the Chaws should be starting their tasks soon, I better find my ryb.... See ya later."

"Don't be so reckless!", she hooted, shaking her head slowly, "Well, before we begin the lesson, who wants to watch the Guardians fly off to their duties? It's always a grand sight to see."

"Wake up, little one.", Snerrab landed next to where Kirra's nest was. "As night falls, new lives dawn." Snerrab was a large Flammulated Owl with big black eyes and always wore a metal helmet. She was battle-scarred, and most of her feathers were burnt. She was a rogue smith, or a solitary owl that knows the practice of blacksmithing. She took smithing orders from almost anyone, but she would never make any kind of metal for the Pure Ones if she had a choice. Although she looked scary and rough, Snerrab was very kind and warm-hearted when she wanted to be. She often talks in riddles and strange words.

"I know dat, Snewa." Kirra said. She was incapable of talking normally, so she called Snerrab Snewa.

"Oh, but do you realise that you are in the presence of a juicy caterpillar?", Snerrab hooted, ruffling the top of Kirra's head and taking out a squirming insect. She plopped the little critter onto the ground in front of the young barn owl.

"Yumz!" Kirra quickly ate the bug.

"It must tingle your taste buds.", she cooed. Snerrab turned away for a moment before looking over her shoulder, "I must be off; I have to collect some mu metal to make a couple of coal claws. It's direct orders from the Guardians."

Esk sighed. Kinda feeling guilty... She hoped she hasn't broke the owl's heart. She tried to clean her mind and concentrate on her duties now.

"Ooh!! Me! Me, me, me, me!!" said Ies all excited with his helmet. "I want to fly with them!"

"You're not old enough to become a guardian just yet, but you will be taking classes soon.", she hooted to the young barn owl.

"See you at Dawn, Esk.", unfolding her wings, the owl lifted off into the air.
