Dawn's early rays of light filtered through Kuroki's window, casting a black sillouhette on the floor. He swung his feet back and forth, as Kuroki looked up at the sky. No one else was up yet, just him and the sun.

Rua was already up and praticing fire moves. Her father was watching every move and making her do it all again if she fails a single muscle.
''Oh, please, darling... You are going too harsh on Rua'' said Rua's mother while serving the tea in the balcony.
''She's going to be a warrior soon! And must prepare!'' her father said like if Rua was going to a war.
''Darling, the war finished years ago... The last avatar ended that horrible bloodshed and our daughter don't need to have such a hard training''
''It's okay, Mother'' said Rua helping her mother to serve the tea after a long day of training ''I want to be as good as you both one day! And maybe serve the new Fire Lord!''
Rua's mother sighed. Even if she served the old Fire Lord as a royal guard, she never liked bloodshed and didn't like the idea of her daughter serving the army.

((Akena's a loner; she's not in a tribe ^.^))
Akena: I sighed, sitting by the lake as a carefully made the image of a dolphin leaping out from the water. I then let it fall. I was sitting in the lake at the air tribe. Seeing that no-one was watching me, I began bending earth, making a set of stairs. I climbed up, then lowered everything down to it's original state.

Airavena: I sat down, bending an air casing around me to allow me to float on the water without getting wet. I fell asleep as I floated, being the only one awake at the time.

After the tea and some rice balls for lunch, Rua's father told his daughter that she could rest the day now.
In secretly, Rua went to the forest that was nearby the village she was living and started controling the earth, but nothing major that could attrach attention. It's amazing!, she thought, It's been 4 years since I discovered the power to control earth and I never told my parents... I can't be the next Avatar, can I? It's impossible!
She stopped controlling the earth and sat on a rock, Maybe I could control other elements?, she thought and concentrated to control the air.

Kuroki looked around one last time to make sure no one was looking. Concintraiting(sp?) hard, he managed to spark a flame with his hand, letting the warm fire leap from one hand to the other, like a little orange ball.

Akena: I saw a small spark of flame coming from a nearby window. I raised the earth under me and moved me to an area outside that house. I leaped off then put the chunk of earth back. Then I went and knocked on the door.

Kuroki stopped dead, the fire quickly burning out. Swinging his legs over the ledge and back into the room, he walked over and opened the door.

Akena: "Hi." I said. "Sorry to bug you, but I just got here the other day. I, uh, ran away from my nation, and need a place to stay. I saw a spark of flame in your house, and fire makes me feel... calm. I'll leave if you want me to leave you alone, though."
