Nagoku be with us!, Kumo prayed, slashing one of the undead's shoulder. He took out his dagger, which was now a little rusty. He launched himself at the monster, sticking it into their neck, making it go limp.

The monsters were killed easily, but one succefully managed to claw and bite Kumo's neck, that started bleeding.
Kumo tried to removed the monster on his back, but it was no use. Suddenly an arrow crossed the undead's head and he fell on the ground montionless. Kumo looked from where the arrow came from and he saw Anders on the top of a house shooting at the enemy. The wound was not severe thanks to Kumo's armor.

"Dangit that hurt.", Kumo muttered, lifting a paw to feel the wound. Flinching he looked at his paw. It was bleeding, but the cut wasn't deep. He took the dagger from the dead...undead and looked around, ready to face another one of the monsters.

Reccarn was pretty wounded, but he did not care one bit. Even with his massive armor, the undead managed to make good and deep wounds on his flesh, but he was a Taharsk and it took more then a few undead to put him down. He violently crushed the head of the undead, making them explode in green blood and organs.
Anders, even a little dizzy, was able to help everyone that had a undead up their arses.
Morrigan was in her spider form, using webs to trap the undead then kill them.
After killing a lot of monsters, Jamie came towards Kumo "Do you have a stamina potion...? I can't feel my jaw of holding this heavy sword" she asked.

"Yeah.", Kumo nodded, taking out one of the potions from inside his leather pack. "Have you gotten any wounds?" He asked, handing her the bottle.

"A few scratches and one of those bastards gave me a burn... But nothing serious" she said and drank all the bottle "Ahh... Much better. Thanks!" she said and ran towards an undead and easily cut him in half.

Kumo turned back to where three undead where ganging up on one of the militia members. Darting forward, he jumped onto one of their backs, shoving the dagger right between their shoulder blades. It screamed in pain as he twisted the dagger sideways, and it soon grew limp.

When the last of the undead fell on the ground montionless, everyone looked at the sides trying to search for more.
"What the... Finished?" asked Anders and he looked at the horizon. You could see some light from the sun.
"It's almost dawn" said Jamie.
"I didn't notice the whole night was this" said Anders shrugging.
"Fighting makes the time go away fast" said Reccarn, after smashing the head of a dead-undead.
"No... This has something to do with Magus" mumbled Morrigan.

"What does it matter?! We survived the night!!" said Knight Yorik walking down the cliff.

Kumo shrugged, crashing down on the ground with exaustion(sp?). His limbs ached, and his neck wound was starting to sting. He rolled over onto his back, letting his tongue loll out of his mouth. He couldn't help but grinning ear to ear. And there he was, grinning like a fiend, between the mangled bodies of the undead.

"Is everyone alright?" asked Knight Yorik.
"Sir knight..." the militia said and pointed at a corpse on the floor.
"No..." Yorik whispered and ran towards the corpse. It was Murdock's. Knight Yorik sighed and closed the old wolf's eyes "Rest easy, brother... You deserve it..." he muttered.

"Are you wounded, Kumo?" asked Jamie, looking down at him.

"Not really.", Kumo shrugged, "Just a little neck wound, see?" Kumo turned his head to the left to show her his cut. "No big deal. I'll be fine."

Morrigan looked at Kumo's wound and threw a green liquid on the wound, burning it.
"Oww... That must hurt..." mumbled Jamie when the green thing made a noise of frying when it touched Kumo's wound.

"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!", Kumo screeched as the green liquid touched his wound. He curled up into a ball, whimpering loudly as it started to let out a frying sound. "What the heck did you put in my cut!??!??!" He howled as the pain got more and more intense.

"Stop screaming, you idiot!" said Morrigan as she shut Kumo's mouth "It's to heal! It hurts at first, but then it will heal fast"

Kumo let out a grunt when Morrigan covered his mouth. But she was right. He noticed that the pain was slowly ebbing away, and soon enough, only a slight twinge(sp?) of pain was left. He pushed her paw away and slowly sat up. "Thanks, Morrigan..", he mumbled, his ears flat against his head.

Then Morrigan used the same green liquid on Reccarn's pelt and did the same noise of frying. Reccarn bit his lips but said nothing, he only nodded.
After some time, it was already dawn and, strangely, the snow became water on the wolves' paws.
"Strange..." Morrigan muttered "This must be work of Kabegami. Snow for only a few days?" she shrugged.

The villagers left the temple and applauded to the party "Dawn is up and we survived the night!" said Adalwulf, while climbing a fallen tree "And we wouldn't have done this far if it weren't for these good folk" he pointed at Kumo and his friends "Even though we lost good friends, their sacrifice were not in vain!"

Adalwulf jumped out of the tree and dipped his head in respect towards Kumo "Thank you a lot for helping us. It seems like it was Nagoku himself that sent you here to help us" he said smilling.

Kumo blushed in embarassedment, "We try.", he chuckled, then he turned to the group, "I want to do some praying at the temple before we investigate the castle..is that okay with everyone?"

"Sure. I'll stay here and help the others" said Jamie and Anders decided to do the same. Kumo went alone to the temple. In the middle, there was Nagoku's statue made of pale yellow marble, and full of dirt.

Kumo padded up to the statue, feeling a chill run down his spine. It seemed that Nagoku's eyes were staring directly at him. He took a couple steps back, ears flattened against his head. He took a couple steps to the right, and them some to the left. His eyes seemed to follow Kumo, and it was starting to creep him out. Shaking his head, he tried to clear the thought away. Statues couldn't see, and they definately couldn't move.

He yawned, noticing how tired he was after the battle. He padded forward, curling up under the God's statue. He rested his muzzle on his paws. He slowly closed his eyes. The black wolf didn't inturrupt his dreams tonight. No, it was something much, much more confusing. Flashes of lighting all around. A hooded wolf carrying something in his mouth, like a package. The wolf ran through the rain, it's paws thundering through the puddles. Something whimpered in the package, and a glimps of white fur could be seen.

The hooded wolf stopped running and looked at the sides. it was impossible to see its face. Another steps could be heard from the bushes and another hooded figure appeared and grabbed the package and opened, revealing a small white cub with small lightning shaped streaks down its delicate fur. The second wolf removed the hood from the head, revealing a young red wolf with yellow markings on his face. He nodded and grabbed the cub and protected him against the rain with his coat and ran back towards the bushes.

Bliksem...?

The first wolf dipped his head and turned away. In less than three seconds later, a bright flash of lightening striked the wolf, and it instantly dissapeared.

Kumo lifted his head in slumber, panting heavily. He frantically looked around. Through one of the windows of the temple, he could see that it was pooring. A lightening bolt ripped through the sky, lighting up the whole room. For a milisecond he thought he saw the same hooded wolf. He shook his head. Me....Bliksem... he didn't find me... someone gave me away!, he whimpered, I was thrown away, like trash!

"Kumo...?" asked a voice behind him. Kumo looked and saw Jamie, she seemed nervous after seeing his expression "Are you... Okay? You tired?" she asked and sat next to him. She stared at Kumo's statue for a while.

"Jamie!", Kumo whimpered, hugging her. "Two wolves, Bliksem and another one, they gave me up." He was on the verge of tears. He dug his head into her shoulder. "Like trash! Bliksem didn't find me, he took me!"

"What...? And how you know that?" asked Jamie. Kumo explained to her his dream when he tried to pray to Nagoku. Jamie was silent for a minute then she shrugged "I'm sure there was a reason for this... Hooded wolf to give you away. Maybe this wolf found you and gave you to Bliksem because of your lightning marks!" she sighed "I wouldn't be worried about that now... We still have to enter in the castle and find out what's happening"

Kumo slightly shook his head, feeling like a wimp for almost crying in front of her. "No... the hooded wolf would have cared and thought otherwise before giving me away.", he muttered, "They didn't care about me." Just then, a loud clash of thunder shook the temple, followed by harder rain. "My..my.. Nagoku's making quite a gale... he must be upset, or sad..."
