Forever Surviving

Charna collided with golden dragon. She fell back down but regained her balance quickly. She flew back up and hovered next to him. "Hello." SHe greeted, an edge to her tone. She had thought she was the only dragon living by the lake.

"Sorry.", he mumbled, head lowered. He landed on a nearby tree.

Charna shook her head. She landed on a lower branch. "Whats your name?" She asked polite curiousity. She looked up at the sky, and wished it would rain. Her tail curled arund the trunk of the tree, making sure she didn't fall if the branch broke.

It was almost morning and The Watcher stood up "It's morning already, dear Compass... We should move on" he said.
Compass mumbled and grabbed tight in the dragon's fur "Already? Can't we just stay for more 5 minutes?"
The Watcher chuckled "And 5 minutes later you'll repeat the same? No. We'll move on now"

"Ryoku.... what's yours?", he asked, looking up at her.

"Charnette." She replied. Her gaze lifted to the sky again. "How long do you thing the darkness will last?" She wondered.

"What darkness?", Ryoku asked, looking up at the sky also.

"Look, father! More dragons!" said young Compass pointing at a dark and a golden dragon.

Charna narrowed her eyes. "Can you not see! The sky! It is black, with even darker clouds that pour no rain and just cover the sun." She sighed and rolled her eyes. She flapped her wings once and took off towards the lake, her tail uncoiling behind her.

"Sorr-ee.", Ryoku responded, flying after her.

Midnight spotted a golden dragon. Those were uncommon these days. She hoovered aways above him, curious.

Ryoku looked up as another shadow cast upon him. "Hi!", he grinned at the dragon.

"Hi." she said, and lowered so she was next to him.

"What's your name?", Ryoku asked.

"Midnight. Yours?" Midnight responded. She had so many questions about him flying through her mind. ((OMG failing at trying to become better RPer. I NEED LESSONS FROM THE OTTER!))

Charnnette ignored the two and landed softly on the rocky shores of the lake. She lapped up the water and looked around.

"Hrrrrrmm..." mumbled The Watcher as he saw some deers running about. He used his big and powerful jaws and killed a deer in a matter of seconds "Aww! Poor deer!" said Compass.

Charna launched off, about a tree-length above the ground. She flew over to a badger and bent down to bite it's neck. "Must be a fairly slow badger." She joked, carrying it back to her cave.

"I thought you said you weren't hungry, dad" said Compass looking at The Watcher while he was eating the deer.
"Yes, but a deer is only an appetizer... Four cows is a meal for me" the elder dragon said while chewing the dead deer.
Compass sighed and looked at the sky. She listened carefully for a river nearby "Dad, I'll try to find the river, 'kay?" she said jumping out of The Watcher's back.
"Hmm... Alright, just don't take too long" he mumbled.

"Ryoku.", he responded.

CHarnette dropped the badger and folded her wings together. She landed on the large ledge outside her den and walked in, the badger in her jaws. A badger this plump was hard to find. She gobbled it down quickly and curled up.

Compass went down the forest and saw two dragons talking. One was a golden dragon and the other was a dark one (( yes, it was Ryoku and Midnight ))
The young girl hid behind a tree and watched the dragons.
