"Mommy, mommy! can i keep it?" the little girl asked hugging the large fluffy dog "I'll love it, and feed it and...and...Its fluffy!" she begged. The mother grabbed the little girls hand "Come on, You already have a dog" she said pulling the child away "But i don't have that one" she cried looking back to where the dog had been sitting only to see it lying over the shoulder, unconscious of a tall man in a lab coat. The little girl turned tucking herself under her mothers arms in fear.

It all started with dogs and cats vanishing from the pound, then from homes...it soon led to the disappearance of animals from Zoo's and aquariums until people started being taken, Fires were started to make it look inconspicuous. Some call it a coincidence others make it a conspiracy theory but strange things have been happening in a desert town. stories have been told about werewolves, and half people...Others claim to have seen Dogs with red eyes and pandas...Pandas in the desert. But behind this lies a hidden lab within the desert, They fuse together the Dna of Animals and humans...Sometimes they live, sometimes they die. With some experimenting, some were unleashed into the small town as a test. The people in the lab watch them, writing down the behavior and reactions of the experiments, The Successes stay but the failures run and end up hunted down.

Edit: Make it clear for Fish and swimming things there is an underground lake and a river system running through the town since it is a desert and they do need a water source. There are also some oasis's around ^^ so perfect for any species i guess. Run around the town, Terrorize the natives and such, Just do what you want but be careful if the Scientist call you back as a default or think you've had enough and throw you back into the cages...

Aiko lay in the sand with his canine ears sticking out of his head and his tail covered in sand. He ran his hand along the sand and grabbed a handful, He sat up and looked at the sand "Oooh...I'm gonna need a bigger bucket" he sighed getting to his feet and walking past the houses in full human form.

Emmalee: My eyes blinked open as the sun leaked through the thick trees. I walked out towards where the human houses were, but not before tucking my tail into my pants and pulling my woven hat on tight, covering my ears. I bumped into a cute guy. (Aiko) "Oh! So sorry!" I said, taking a step back.

Aiko looked at Emmalee and grinned "Oh, Sorry My bad" he laughed nervously looking at the girl "I..Uh..Yeah...Sorry" he scratched his head nervously unsure of what to say and looked away from her "I should...uh. I should go find a bucket" He said trying to seem Normal but failing terribly.

"Oh! What for?"

Aiko looked back at her and grinned "Sand" he said simply gesturing to the sandy ground "You need a bucket...to get the sand, because it slips through fingers and...Yeah I need a big bucket" he said looking at the ground.

"Wnat help?"

Aiko looked at Emmalee "Uh..Okay" he reached out his hand "I'm Aiko by the way" he grinned

"I'm Emmalee, but you can call me Emma." I grinned, showing my cat-like teeth. Oops. I clasped my hands over my mouth.

Sam walked down the laboratory hall dragging a small cage behind him containing a hare. He had a smirk on his face as he left the animal's cage with the rest, He just needed people, he had enough animals.

Aiko looked at Emmalee and tilted his head "Whats wrong with your mouth?" he asked "I mean, Yeah What are you trying to hide Emma?" He asked raising a brow "Let me guess...Your a vampire! No wait you has braces?" He scratched his head "Don't leave me guessing" he grinned

Emma: I removed my hand from my mouth. "It's, uh, a secret... that could get me locked in a cage forever if revealed. I whispered that last part.

Aiko let out a growling sigh "Aww! I want to know" he swung his arms annoyed "I will show you my teeth" he chuckled

Emmalee: "Sorry, but maybe if I get to know you more." I said, and accidentally flicked my ear, popping my hat off. I bent down to grab it, I had forgotten about my non-human-like ears.
