The Tribe Of Approaching Storms

Stone sighed and lowered his tail until it was grazing the waters. It stilled upon his touch. His eyes widenned. [Idea for new prophecy.Anyone wanna be in it?]

Mud nodded and smiled. He had begun to like Mouse.

Moon yawned.

((Ooh! Me! Me!))

Stone waved his tail. The water followed and rose higher. He stopped. The water droplets stayed istill in mid-air. He gasped. He pulled his tail back to land and the water returned to normal.

Mud walked back to Moon. "Cross and River are coming, along with Mouse." He advised her.

Moon bowed her head and flicked her tail impatiently.

Mouse sighed,. Her friend wouldn't wake up! She glared at a nearby rock. She looked over to the floor near the cave entance. The rock flew to the area right in fronto of the cave. (( Telekinetis(sp?)))

Stone bent down to lick the water. The water flew into his mouth. He backed away and ran back to camp, his tail waving in excitement.

Mud waited for Mouse to return.

Moon sighed and stumbled up the hill to find out what was taking Mouse so long.

((I don't see it.))

Moon peeked into the Prey-Hunters den. "Mouse!" She called. "Cross! River!"

Stone bursted through the enterance. He colapsed on his haunches, panting. When he finally got his breath back, he decided to not tell anyone,

((Yup.))
"Oh, yeah, I couldn't wake them up." Mouse said, jittery.

Sun yawned, padding out of the Cave-Guard den and out of the cave. She laid down on one side of the cave. "Hey.", she said to the other guards.

Cross came next to Feather
"Feather! Wake up!" he whispered at his sister's ear
"Hmmm? Yea, Cross?" she asked half-sleepy
"Can you fix my finger? I think there's a rock in it..."

Eagle awoke in his nest and stretched. He got to his paws and followed Sun out. He stretched and looked around for Feather.

Moon nodded and bounded back toward Mud.

Mud stretched. "I guess it's just us." He mewed, opening his mouth to draw in the scents of the pines.

Stone smoothed his neck fur, which had risen in surprise. He padded into his den and curled up, fast asleep.

"Mornin', Eagle.", Sun grinned.

Mouse sat down. "Sh-should we head out?"

Eagle smiled at Sun and bowed his head. "Morning." He greeted, looking around. "Have you seen Feather? She's usually awake by this time of day."

Mud nodded and set off down the slope that led into the forest. He followed the path where many had since walked, leading right through the middle of the pines.

Moon trailed behind the others, her fur ruffled in the wind.

"Nope.", Sun replied, curling her tail around her paws. "Why do you ask?"

"She's suposed to assign patrols and guards." He remarked.

Mud turned his face toward the cold wind that was blowing. He headed that way so the prey wouldn't scent him.

Moon followed without a word. She looked through the trees for any movements.

Sun shrugged, yawning. "Let her have some sleep. It's been stressful these past days for her."

Eagle nodded. 'Wanna do a border patrol?" He asked the other Cave-Guard.

"Sure, why not.", Sun replied, standing up. "I remember when we didn't have to go patroling..."

Eagle nodded. "Before the rouges came to the mountains." He stated. "I miss those days. Even if Cave-Guards did nothing but guard." He padded over toward the enterance. "Guard the camp well, Hiss." He murmured to the tom.

Sun padded after Eagle. "Yeah, I was only a to-be back at the mountains, but I still miss it."

Mouse padded behind Mud, waiting for the scent of prey to be washed into her nose.

Mud glanced at those behind him. "Smell anything?" He whispered.

Eagle nodded. "I wonder why they split up. I mean, some just started leaving and most of them had no idea why." He followed the border which started at the enterance to the cave. He rubbed his scent onto a clump of ferns.

"Yeah, I wonder why the left.", Sun replied, putting her scent on a nearby tree.

Eagle lept over the stream and turned around. He bent down and lapped the water. He yawned and waited for Sun to catch up.
