Things Can Come Back

Mouse glanced at the Leader, awaiting a response. (Anyone know how long dentist apointments take?)

Amber wanted to follow the Medicine Cat but couldn't risk getting electracuted again.

Hawk moved his head slightly. His eyes fluttered open as he held back a scream. He wasn't going to die looking like an idoit.

Snow hissed. Why was Copper helping him? He was probably already dead.

"Stop it!! Please! Make it stop!!" screamed Star closing her eyes.

Dream looked over at Star, the newest of the slaves. "He's gonna be fine, kid.", she blinked, trying to comfort her, "We get treated like this all the time." Well, she didn't say she was good at it.

Dust growled and looked at mouse "Can she do that?" he asked

Copper placed chewed Alder onto the wounds to reduce swelling and Infection. She sighed, there was a large amount of blood but nothing she could try help. She flinched at the scream "Calm down" she whispered soothingly.

"B-But... I can't take it any longer..." said Star crying "P-Please... I-I want to-to get out of here..."

"Hey, calm your slave down.", one of the guards told Dream, "She was basically foaming at the mouth a few minutes ago. She's not gonna learn to not do those things without teaching her a lesson. Sheesh."

Dream blinked, "I mean... well... he can...... take it?", she gave a fake smile.

Dust whipped his head around and saw it was Dream that others were giving out to. He gave a hiss of annoyance "Quite..." he growled glaring at her.

Hawk laid there, trying to get to his feet every now and then. He kept failing. He curled up akwardly, his injured leg laid out behind him with his tail around his three other paws, careful to not let anything touch his underbelly. He knew he was weak.

Snow lashed her tail. "Dream. I guess you're going againest Fern." She mewed.

Amber shook her head and licked her paw. The fur was turning darker there. Curse these electracuting cages.

Mouse gasped. He sprang after Copper and knocked her aside. He turned to face the Medicine Cat. "Go. If you want to keep your fur on. This is a fight. No healing until one of them dies." He said, pointing with his tail to Hawk and Fern.

Star whined and started trembling.

"Well hop to it!", the guard blinked. "And if you need any help, call me." He walked back over to his position, in front of the cages.

Copper flinched and crouched low scrambling away from Mouse. "Sorry" she whispered to Hawk before she left. Sitting back beside the cages she kept her head low.

"Thanks for trying to help.", Dream walked to the edge of her cage.

Copper smiled faintly "Your welcome, but I need to think of an Excuse why" she looked at Night

Mouse let out a hiss of annoyance and padded back over to Night's side.

Hawk didn't move, nor make a sound.

Snow let her fur lie flat before padding into her den. She curled up and took a nap.

Amber sighed and laid down, her gaze flickering from Hawk, To Dream and lingering on Dust,

"So. I guess I'm fighting Fern now?", Dream snarled.

Star's belly started roaring "uhh.." she asked Dream "Does they give food to the slaves?"

Amber shook her head and forced herself to look away. "Usually." She mumbled.

"Once our masters are done, they send cats to give us the rest of the food.", Dream mumbled, "If there's anything left.."

Amber yawned and curled up. SHe nodded off into sleep.

Hawk laid there, eyes closed. Only the slight rise of his flank and small ragged breaths giving him away as alive. He waited for Fern to kill him.

Mouse glared at the slaves to be quiet. He laid down.

"Hawk! Get up!", Dream yelled. She knew that Mouse was her master while Dust slept, but she didn't care. He could kill her right then and there, but Mouse would see her give in anytime soon.

"Oh.. No..." Star started crying again.

"It's okay.", Dream whispered to her, "Stop crying."

"But... But I'm gonna die... The other cats will try to force-breed with me... They will let me starve..." she said.

"Hun, force-breeding is a punishment. You did nothing wrong. If anyone's gonna get force-bred, it's gonna be me.", Dream sighed, "Now stop being a sap."
